PEASE NOTE: Anybody experiencing a low output volume, make sure to raise your system/ringtone sound settings. This is a separate option in the settings (but you can link system sound volume to your music sound volume). And make sure your iphone is not in silent mode.

If you are not sure if this app is for you, then view our demo video on our website: http://compas-flamenco.com/en/flamenco_metronome_iphone_app.html

NEW IN THIS UPDATE:

- Standby mode is now disabled when playing
- Playing can optionally start with an offbeat now
- A new pattern of 6 beats has been added for Fandangos
- Compas Flamenco now memorizes the speeds you have been using for each style. So when you prefer a specific speed for a given style you dont have to adjust it each time you start the app or change the style. To reset a speed to the default double-tap the stop button. To reset speeds for all styles go to the info tab and press "Reset speeds for all styles to default"

Thank you for your suggestions (especially to Simone, Peter and Ander) and for contacting me in case of problems, this really helps to improve the app!

Compas Flamenco is a dedicated and comprehensive flamenco metronome for iOS. It includes all major flamenco styles and it is an invaluable tool for learning to play and dance "a compás". Compas Flamenco is s great help if you are not sure how long your step pattern or falseta needs to be to fit into the rhythm or when you are not accurately with the rhythm when performing. And of course its really fun to use it!

Functions:

- For iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5s

- Rhythms for Soleares, Alegrias, Bulerias, Siguiriyas, Fandangos, rhythms of 4 beats (Tangos, Tientos, Tarrantos, Rumbas), rhythms of 3 beats (Granaina, Malagueña, Sevillanas) are included.

- For each flamenco style different typical variations can be played (e.g. different hand clapping patterns). Perfect to learn how to accompany the different rhythms with hand clapping!

- Bulerias can be played as a rhythm of 12 beats or as a rhythm of 6 beats (perfect to practice patterns or Falsetas that change between rhythms of 6 and 12).

- Siguiriyas can be played as a rhythm of 12 beats (beginning at 8) or as a rhythm counted to 5 (1 y 2 y 3 y y 4 y y 5), favoured by many Gitanos, with the corresponding counting scheme visualised in the metronome.

- Fandangos can be played as a rhythm of 12 beats or as four rhythms of 3 beats.

- The starting point in the rhythm of 12 beats can either be set to 12 or to 1 (Soleares, Alegrias, Bulerias).

- All patterns can be played with Palmas (hand clapping) or Cajón.

NEW: Option for automatically increasing speed. Start slowly and see up to which speed you can perform.
